A highly experienced and qualified medical team at SSB Heart & Multi-Speciality Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana, successfully removed a giant abdominal tumour weighing 16.5 kilograms from a female patient.
After the successful surgery, the patient’s condition improved, and she was subsequently released from the hospital.
A surgical team, led by Dr Ajay Verma. He stated that when the patient was brought to the hospital, his condition was really critical. Following several examinations, the decision was reached to undertake surgery. The surgery lasted around seven hours, and the patient received approximately 24 units of blood and blood products. The 16.5-kilogram tumour was successfully removed.
