Ajay Mittal appointed as Secretary of DoPT

NEW DELHI (INDIA): The 1982 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, Ajay Mittal has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) in the vacancy caused on superannuation of the present incumbent B.P.Sharma, IAS (Bihar cadre and 1981 batch) on 30.06.2017.nnHe is presently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
