Arunchal Pradesh Chief Secretary and DGP transferred

ITANAGAR: The government of India has transferred Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Satya Gopal and Director General of Police S B K Singh with immediate effect, officials said here on Tuesday.nnSenior IAS officer Naresh Kumar has been appointed as the new chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh replacing Gopal, an order issued by Under Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Rakesh Kumar Singh stated on Tuesday.nnCurrently posted as Chairman of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) under the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, Kumar is an IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre of 1987 batch.nnGopal was posted as the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh on October 2017.nnIn another order, Arunachal Pradesh DGP S B K Singh has been posted as the police chief of Mizoram.nnSingh is an IPS officer under AGMUT cadre of 1988 batch.nnSenior IPS officer R P Upadhyaya currently posted as Special Commissioner of Delhi Police would take charge of Arunachal Pradesh DGP with immediate effect, the order said.nnSource: Press Trust of India
