Chhattisgarh gets first tribal Chief Secretary

NEW DELHI: In a bureaucratic reshuffle, Chhattisgarh government has appointed Sunil Kumar Kujur as new Chief Secretary of the State.nnKujur is the States first Chief Secretary with a tribal background. He is the State?s 10th Chief Secretary.nnHe is an IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre 1983 batch.nnHe is replacing 1983 batch IAS officer Ajay Singh who has now been appointed as the Chairman of the Revenue Board, Bilaspur.nnHe is replacing 1983 batch IAS officer Ajay Singh who has now been appointed as the Chairman of the Revenue Board, Bilaspur.nnPrior to this Kujur was Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Commerce and Industry and Public-Sector departments.nn
