Congress appoints AICC secretaries for Odisha

NEW DELHI: Congress president Rahul Gandhi today approved the appointments of three former party MLAs asAICC secretaries for Odisha with immediate effect.nnThe former legislators are Rudra Raju (Andhra Pradesh), Anil Kumar Chaudhary (Delhi) and Shaikh Mastan, party general secretary Ashok Gehlot said in a statement.nnThe party also appointed its leader Aditya Sharma as joint secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC) with immediate effect, Gehlot added.nn”The party appreciates the hard work and contribution of Shubhankar Sarkar, who will be stepping down from his responsibility as AICC secretary for Odisha,” Gehlot said.nnSource: Press Trust of India
