Dr M M Kutty appointed as new Petroleum Secretary

NEW DELHI: The government of India has appointed IAS officer Dr M M Kutty as new Petroleum Secretary.nnDr Kutty, a 1985 batch IAS officer of union territories cadre, was in November last year appointed as Additional Secretary in the Union Finance MinistrynnBefore his appointment as Additional Secretary, Kutty worked as Delhi Chief Secretary and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.nnHe had been Principal Secretary to the then Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit. Dr Kutty had also been Finance Secretary in the present Aam Aadmi Party government.
