NEW DELHI (INDIA): Government of Haryana in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry organised the fourth roadshow for Pravasi Haryana Divas in New Delhi on Monday. Industry leaders of Haryana origin attended the roadshow aimed to invite NRIs and people of Haryana origin to come and invest in the state.nnAddressing people hailing from Haryana, Minister for Industries, Haryana, Vipul Goel, said, “Haryana is changing and perception about Haryana is changing even faster. The state has improved in EoDB rankings from 14th to 6th position in a short period.”nn”We are aiming at not only highlighting available avenues for investments in various sectors, but also offering concrete opportunities for meaningful contribution towards improving the lives of the people of Haryana. With saying all this, I am here to invite you all to Pravasi Haryana Divas on 11 January 2017 at Gurugram,? he added.nnHe said steps such as special Skill Development University, which will start soon and Haryana Kaushal Vikas Nigam will go a long way to develop the state for a modern future.nn?State government is working on Aerospace & Defence Policy, IT & ESDM Policy, Food Processing Policy, Retail Policy, Textile Policy, Footwear Policy, to boost Ease of Doing Business in the state,” he said.nn”ESDM, Health, Education, Tourism, Media & Entertainment are the key sectors where in we are looking for business partnerships with you. The Government has also been committed to accelerate the pace of socio-economic development in the rural areas through Swa-prerit Adarsh Gram Yojana (SPAGY), which seeks to translate Gandhian Vision of reconstruction of villages of India so that it may be as easy for anyone to live in them as it is supposed to be in cities. In Happening Haryana summit, 11 corporates signed MoUs with government of Haryana to adopt villages. In June 2016, five villages were nominated by Hon?ble President of India for making smart village in Haryana. 18 villages have been adopted by Maruti Suzuki, DLF Foundation, JCB, Power Grid, Indian Oil, Manav Rachna trust under Swa-Prerit Adarsh Gram Yojana/CSR. The state welcomes your support in developing Haryana villages so as to bridge urban-rural divide,” said Goel.nn?Over past few decades, Haryana has transformed into a land of opportunities & enterprise. To ease regulatory burden and facilitate Ease of doing business, we have launched single-roof mechanism through the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Act 2016, notified 119 services to industries under the Haryana Right to Services Act 2014, introduced three-tier grievance Redressal mechanism to address the grievances of industrial units and launched E-biz portal in January 2016, for online submission of Composite Application Form (CAF),” said Goel.nn”Our vision for the state would be a world where both the farmer and industrialists are happy with their work, having contributed to progress of our state. The state government will soon implement special sectoral policies in IT, IT manufacturing, retail, defence and aerospace, food processing and textiles.”nn?With the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) survey, Haryana is ranked among top five states in the ease of doing business (EODB). Ours is the top state in North India in the EODB ranking. We are investing heavily in industrial and related infrastructure to ensure that all future needs of the industry are fulfilled with the ambitious 136 km long KMP (Kundli-Manesar-Palwal) expressway along with the MRTS (along the satellite towns of NCR) and Global Smart City, Aviation Hub, Hisar and Multi-Modal Logistics hub at Bawal on the KMP corridor,” said Singh.nn?CII has partnered with Government of Haryana for Happening Haryana-Global Investors? Summit, the visit of Government of Haryana ? CII delegation to US and Canada, inputs and best practices for the new Enterprise Promotion Policy were positively considered by Haryana Government. For affordable power, tariff has been considerably reduced & updated tariff will be announced very soon by the State.
