Respected citizens of India, before I share my thoughts on the current political situation in the nation and the matters discussed in this edition, I would like to share the recent struggle behind National Political Mirror, one of the world’s most reputed news titles after the New York-based weekly news magazine TIME.
The title of National Political Mirror was blocked by the Press Registrar General of India (PRGI) due to my own errors. However, after fulfilling all the requirements set by the Press Registrar General of India, I regained ownership of this renowned news title on June 19. Therefore, I would like to thank all the staff members of the Press Registrar General of India (PRGI), formerly known as the Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI), for their support and assistance.
So, I am grateful that I have once again become the owner of the title, and I promise that I will now publish National Political Mirror regularly every week.
At the same time, I would like to tell you the truth. When I learned that the National Political Mirror title had been blocked, I was unable to sleep or eat properly because I was deeply worried about losing the title permanently.
Under the new Press and Registration of Periodicals (PRP) Act, once a title is officially de-blocked or cancelled, another person may be able to apply for that newspaper title, subject to the applicable rules. The original owner may also lose exclusive rights to the title and may not be able to prevent someone else from applying for it.
That is why regaining ownership of National Political Mirror on June 19 was extremely important to me personally and professionally. I am thankful that I was able to complete the required process and continue publishing the publication.
Therefore, I would like to say that National Political Mirror is everything to me after late lady of my heart Ms. Deepshikha Singh Rana, the only daughter of the late Lt. Col. Jitendra Kumar Singh (V). You may therefore say that I have been married to National Political Mirror forever since the departure of lady of my heart Ms. Deepshikha Singh on June 18, 2020.
And believe me, since 2020, National Political Mirror has been everything to me. Whenever I feel alone, whenever I am sad, whenever I feel like crying, or whenever I am angry, I share my feelings with *National Political Mirror* through my words. Therefore, believe me, I cannot live without National Political Mirror.
And I would also like to share here a private conversation between me and my lady, Deepshikha Singh, which we had during our time together when she was still in this world.
She used to tell me, “You have such a deep love and passion for politics and political journalism. That is why you started National Political Mirror. If I leave this world before you, you will become obsessed with me and may even lose your mind. You will never fall in love with another woman or enter into another relationship. Instead, you will marry National Political Mirror.”
Then I once asked her, “Why are you saying that?” She replied, “Because either you talk about your love for me, or you talk about the stories and ideas of National Political Mirror. That is why I am telling you this.”
At that time, I told her, “You may be right.” But at that time, I had no idea that she would leave me forever and that one day she would be in heaven with her late father, Lt. Col. Jitendra Kumar Singh Rana.
So, believe me, National Political Mirror always reminds me of her and of the love she had for me. With her support, I started National Political Mirror, and she gave me the greatest encouragement and willpower to pursue my passion.
Before I say anything about this edition of National Political Mirror, I would like to say this: “Don’t marry the person you can have fun with; marry the person you can suffer with.” Anyone can love you when life is good, when the sun is shining, the money is flowing, and smiles come easily. That part is simple. But love isn’t proven on the best days; love is revealed on the worst ones—when life hits hard, when the nightmare begins, and when everything feels uncertain.
And I became a widower by God’s will, and I also believe that God may have another plan for me and my late lady, Ms. Deepshikha Singh Rana. As a Hindu with a strong faith in Hinduism, I was, I am, and will always remain faithful to my beliefs. I will never go against my faith or my God. I have a strong belief in God, love, destiny, honesty, and strong personal character.
And trust me, I will continue to maintain the strong personal character that my late lady always valued. She was always proud of my character when she was in this world. Therefore, I believe that maintaining this character is the greatest gift I can give to my late lady, Deepshikha Singh Rana.
She never asked me for any gifts. Instead, she always told me, “Sanjeeb, your behaviour should always be such that any woman feels safe and secure whenever she is around you.” I also believe that everyone should respect women as god beings because women have the power to create and nurture life.
And I became a widower by God’s will. But many people become widows or widowers by choice, as the number of divorce cases continues to rise across the country. According to media reports, between 2016 and 2026, India’s divorce rate rose steadily from 0.4% to 1%, meaning that approximately one in every 100 marriages ends in divorce.
Therefore, I would like to say that romance isn’t about vacations and photographs. Romance is about who sits beside you in the emergency room waiting area at 3 a.m.; who holds your hand when the future feels terrifying; who looks at the broken, exhausted, and imperfect version of you and still chooses you, still stays, and still fights for you.
Anyone can be your companion in the sunshine. But the right person is the one who is willing to walk through hell with you.
Someone once said, “If you live in the past, you will be depressed, and if you live in the future, you will be anxious.” But I believe that living only in the present or the future can sometimes mean staying in your comfort zone and running away from the promises you have made to someone.
I live in the past, present, and future because I see all three as gifts from God. So, I choose to live in the past, present, and future.
However, you have every right to live in the present if that makes you feel good. I have no right to instruct you on how to live your life. But remember: do what is good for you, your family, your well-wishers, and society.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to talk about what is in this edition of National Political Mirror.
First, I would like to talk about the cover page. The cover page is very simple, but it explains what today’s youth wants to say. I have explained everything in the cover story, including what politicians need to do to address the issues facing young people.

Now, I would like to end my words by saying that romance is nice…… but love—love is great.
So, close your eyes. It’s time to smell the roses, because their fragrance is beautiful. Fall in love with a real person who loves to give and receive roses, not a fake one who only believes in romance.
