Jitan Ram Manjhi and His Promises

BY SANJEEB KUMAR SAHOO

Before saying anything about Jitan Ram Manjhi, I would like to express that I will always remember a good person, and this year, #Dhanteras (Dhanteras, the first day of Diwali, Saturday, October 18, 2025) was made unforgettable by a remarkable individual who made my celebration the best ever.

And, I have tagged him in this tweet but will not reveal this good person’s name; however, I will certainly disclose his name with his permission when necessary.

Also, I would like to say that I’m not greedy or hungry for money like the owners of big corporate media houses who are always thinking about money because it means everything to them and their families’ happiness.

For them, money is everything, and even though they have zero knowledge about what is #RealJournalism or the needs of poor people in India, they are running media houses with the help of top politicians.

On the other side, I am always on cloud nine when I receive small compliments from those who value my abilities. And for the past couple of years, I assisted wealthy individuals without any expectations. From now on, I will never help another very wealthy person.

Let’s talk about, India’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. He promised his party’s senior #Rajput leader that he would give him the party to contest for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Polls, but he didn’t keep his word; after sharing seats with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), his party only got six seats when it had been demanding fifteen seats.

And, I will not reveal the strong Rajput leader’s name here, but I have shared information about him with only one individual.

An interesting fact is that Prime Minister #NarendraModi is against dynastic politics, but his party’s ally Jitan Ram Manjhi has given all six assembly tickets to people in his family, with only one seat going to someone from outside the family.

Even though Jitan Ram Majhi had promised earlier to give his senior Rajput leader an assembly ticket, he did not keep that word.

After seat-sharing agreements with the NDA leaders and ticket distribution to family members, Jitan Ram Majhi mentioned that the #BJP and its top leaders have assured him one MLC seat after the assembly elections.

Nonetheless, a senior Rajput leader told Jitan Ram Majhi that he would once again assign the MLA seat to a family member.

Trust me, I knew that it would happen since many days ago, as I attended the fourth national executive meeting of Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha in New Delhi on September 4, 2025, following an invitation from the party’s senior Rajput leader.

Last but not least, because I write short editorials on social media platforms such as X and Twitter, I decided to write short editorials right after the election rally in Bihar, and I have already started and written my first short editorial about India’s Home Minister #AmitShah’s first rally from #Taraiya Assembly, which was held on October 17 for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

In the next couple of days, I will write about key politicians such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi (BJP leader), India’s opposition leader Rahul Gandhi (top Congress leader), India’s Home Minister Amit Shah (BJP leader), JDU President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar’s official opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav (RJD leader), and Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraj party and a leader in the opposition but not an official leader.

Trust me, Prashant Kishor , has been performing remarkably well, recently revealing critical issues through a series of press conferences that address corruption, crime, and fraudulent activities linked to the ministers of the BJP-JDU-led Bihar government.

Although Tejashwi Prasad Yadav officially holds the position of opposition leader in Bihar, he has not effectively carried out his responsibilities over the past five years.

Recently, Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, has assumed the role of opposition leader by exposing significant issues such as corruption, crime, and fraudulent activities involving the #Bihar government.
