By Sanjeeb Kumar SahoonnNEW DELHI (INDIA):The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, ShripadYesso Naik said that Narendra Modi government has released Rs.157.88 lakhs for set up of 100 bedded hospital in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar.nn”To set up a Central Research Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy (CRIYN) at Bhubaneswar, Odisha with 100 bedded hospital, the Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) has obtained 20 acres of cost free land from the State Government,” said Naik in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.nn”Funds to the tune of Rs.157.88 lakhs have been released to the CPWD for construction of boundary wall, walking track etc. Demarcation of the allotted land has been completed in July, 2016. The Project is presently held up due to resistance of the residents of the locality,” he said.nnCentral Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH had obtained 20 acres of land from Odisha Government in Binjhagiri Village in Khordha District to establish a Central Research Institute in Yoga and Naturopathy.nnMorarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi is an autonomous organization under Central Government which is engaged in activities primarily related to education in Yoga. Additionally, in 16 states , 108 colleges and educational institutes of 54 universities conducted courses on Yoga at various levels in the country (during 2012-13), as informed by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
