Naveen Patnaik sanctions Rs 35.84 crore for Odisha’s 7 blocks
NEW DELHI: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 35.84 crore for 1,506 projects of seven districts under Ama Gaon Ama Bikash Yojana.nnThe Chief Minister discussed with people of Tangarpali block in Sundergarh district, Korukonda block in Malkangiri district, Banki block in Cuttack district, Kamakhyanagar block in Dhenkanal district, Mahakalapada block in Kendrapara district, Tangi block in Khorda district and Kanasa block in Puri district and sanctioned the money for 148 panchayats under these blocks.nnWhile Rs 2.83 crore has been allocated for 87 projects in 12 panchayats under Tangarapali block of Sundargarh district, 2.20 crore will be spent on 143 projects in 11 panchayats under Korkunda block of Malkangiri district.nnSimilarly, Rs 4.88 crore has been sanctioned for 323 projects in 20 panchayats under Banki block of Cuttack district.nnAbout Rs 5.28 crore will be spent for 216 projects in 21 panchayats under Kamakhyanagar block of Dhenkanal district and Rs 7.63 crore for 268 projects in 30 panchayats under Mahakalapada block of Kendrapada district.nnThe Chief Minister also sanctioned Rs 6.50 crore for 236 projects in 26 panchayats under Tangi block of Khordha district and Rs 6.52 crore for 233 projects in 28 panchayats under Kanasa block of Puri district.nnPatnaik advised the people and block representatives to ensure quality work and timely completion of the projects and said ?All these allocated money are yours and for the people of Odisha?.nnThe villagers and the representatives also thanked the CM for the projects in return.
