Punjab transfers 19 IAS officers

CHANDIGARH (INDIA): The Punjab government today has issued transfer and posting orders of 19 IAS and one PCS officers with immediate effect.nnAn official spokesperson said Nirmal Jeet Singh Kalsi has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice.nnKalsi has been given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department, Removal of Grievances, investment promotion & industrial liaison at Punjab Bhawan in New Delhi, Governance Reforms and Jails departments.nnK J S Cheema has been posted as Secretary, Freedom Fighters, while Sirra Karuna Raju has been assigned as Secretary, Finance-cum-Secretary Institutional Finance and Banking.nnRahul Tiwari has been posted as Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation, and Varun Roojam has been given the charge of Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar and in addition Director Information & Public Relations Department.nnBasant Garg has been posted as Mission Director, Food Processing and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, Food processing and in addition Director, Food Processing, while Manvesh Singh Sidhu has been posted as Special Secretary, School Education.nnGaggandip Singh Brar has been posted as Special Secretary Cooperation while the services of Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal has been posted in Department of Housing and Urban Development for Posting as Chief Administrator Greater Ludhiana Area Development, Authority.nnArun Sekhri has been transferred as Special Secretary Personnel and given additional charge as Special Secretary, Vigilance and Additional Managing Director Punjab Agro Industries Cooperation.nnAbhinav has been posted as Director Treasury and Accounts and in addition Special Secretary, Finance.nnRavi Bhagat has been posted as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Development Authority, SAS Nagar and given additional charge of Director Town and Country Planning and Special Secretary Housing and Urban Development.nnDaljit Singh Mangat has been posted as Special Secretary, Power and Renewable Energy and in addition Director Planning.nnThe services of Gurlovleen Singh Sidhu has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar, and Ashwani Kumar has been shifted as Special Secretary, Social Security and development of Women and Children.nnMalwinder Singh Jaggi has been transferred as Director, Welfare of SCs & BCs and in addition Member Secretary, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission.nnJaskiran Singh has been posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana.nnAnindita Mittra has been transferred as Joint Development Commissioner Integrated Rural Development and given additional charge of Commissioner, NAREGA and Karnesh Sharma has been posted as additional Secretary, Coordination and Protocol and given additional charge of Director, Hospitality.nnLikewise, PCS officer Moneesh Kumar has been posted as Additional Secretary, Forests and Wild Life against a vacant Post.nnSource: Press Trust of India
