Rahul Gandhi assigns two AICC secretaries to Madhya Pradesh

NEW DELHI: Congress President Rahul Gandhi today assigned AICC secretaries Harshwardhan Sapkal and Varsha Gaekwad to Madhya Pradesh which goes to polls later this year.nnThe two were earlier AICC Secretaries in Gujarat and have since been withdrawn from there.nnThey will now assist Dipak Babaria, who is the AICC general secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh.nnSapkal and Gaekwad will also work in coordination with the new state Congress chief Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia, who was recently appointed chairman of the campaign committee for the state which goes to polls later this year.nn”Congress president Rahul Gandhi has assigned AICC Secretaries Harshwardhan Sapkal and Varsha Gaekwad to Madhya Pradesh and they have been withdrawn from Gujarat assignment,” AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot said.nnHe said the party appreciates their hard work and contribution in Gujarat, assigned to them previously.nnGehlot said the Congress President has also appointed Sudhanshu Tripathi as Secretary AICC assigned to Gujarat.nnSource: Press Trust of India
