SBI Chairman inaugurates SME branch in Partapur Industrial Estate

NEW DELHI: Rajnish Kumar, Chairman of country?s largest lender State Bank of India visited his hometown and inaugurated a few developmental initiatives contributing towards welfare of the society.nnThe Chairman also inaugurated the Partapur Industrial Estate Branch dedicated to SME customers where he felicitated the beneficiaries of Mudra loan and enlightened the customers on the key benefits of Mudra loans.nnKumar also spent time with army veterans in cantonment and visited Meerut College.nnDuring his visit to army cantonment, Kumar along with other army personnel planted 501 trees at army cantonment branch of SBI.nnOn behalf of SBI, he also donated 3 motorised wheelchairs and 3 specially designed two-wheelers to the army veterans & 2 E-Rickshaws to military Hospital Meerut Cantt.nnAdditionally, Kumar presented smart classroom equipment to B.A.V Inter College along with CBSE approved digital content for the students of standard VI – XII.nnDuring his visit, Kumar, Chairman, SBI said, ?It?s always a special feeling when you are at home. I am privileged that I got an opportunity to extend humble contribution to the betterment of Meerut. This city has always been dominant on SME businesses and schemes like Mudra loans and other products are made available to support them with funding requirement.?nnIt was a nostalgic day that Meerut witnessed when Kumar, who has spent a lot of his formative years here, met and addressed doctors, academicians, army officials, businessmen and other dignitaries of the city.
