TDP to soon announce constitution of joint action committee with Janasena
RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Friday said a joint action committee (JAC) will soon be formed for coordination between his party and the Janasena, ahead of coming elections.
He made the announcement after meeting his father N Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently lodged in Rajamahendravaram central prison.
The JAC, comprising leaders of both the parties, will chalk out the future course of action against the YSRC government in the state.
Nara Lokesh was accompanied by his mother N Bhuvaneswari and wife Nara Brahmani, along with a bevy of TDP leaders.
“Very soon we will announce a joint action committee of TDP and Janasena. Both the parties will follow the directions given by the panel. We will implement them together,” Lokesh told reporters.
Launching a diatribe against Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Lokesh said his family has been forced to protest on the streets because of the alleged illegal arrest of his father.
Alleging that there was threat to Naidu’s safety inside the jail, the TDP leader claimed that police officials have received a letter from Naxalites threatening to target the former CM.
Lokesh lamented that the alleged vengeful attitude of the YSRC government was driving away projects to Telangana and decried the capital-less state of Andhra Pradesh.
