NEW DELHI: A young leader from Odisha, Sushant Kumar Mohanty, has authored a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled *Modi: Woh Dashak Jisne Bharat Ko Badal Diya* (मोदी: वो दशक जिसने भारत को बदल दिया), which translates to *Modi: The Decade That Changed India*. The book discusses Narendra Modi’s tenure as Prime Minister and highlights decisions and initiatives related to governance and public service.

The book was officially launched on September 25, 2026, at the Constitution Club in New Delhi. Manoj Tiwari, a three-term Lok Sabha MP from North East Delhi, attended the event as the chief guest, who officially released the book at the event.
Several political leaders, including newly elected MLAs from West Bengal, were present at the book launch. Among them were Bikarana Naskar, MLA from Gosaba and a special invitee, and Dr. Biswapriya Roy Chaudhury, a senior BJP leader from West Bengal.
Following the book launch, 50 social workers were honoured with the Antyodaya Award in recognition of their contributions to society.
The event was held on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who was born on September 25, 1916. His birth anniversary is observed across India as Antyodaya Diwas, reflecting the principle of uplifting the most disadvantaged sections of society.
After attending the book launch event, Manoj Tiwari wrote on Twitter: “On the occasion of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji’s birthday, the book titled Modi: The Decade That Changed India was released under the ongoing ‘Good Governance, Service and Resolve’ initiative.Written by author Shri Sushant ji, the book provides an in-depth discussion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s personality, leadership, impact on public movements, style of governance, and the important decisions taken over the past decade, along with their effects. The book is an effort to understand Modi ji’s political journey and the various transformative initiatives undertaken under his leadership.”
