Like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I too went to Jantar Mantar on Friday, July 24, but before I tell you what happened and what I found there, I would like to add that Narendra Modi’s government actions so far have not been adequate to put an end to student protests at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
I would therefore like to state that at 2am, in the middle of the night, I returned home from Jantar Mantar. And I have discovered there that if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan did not step down from his position or resign, then protesters would demand the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the resignation of other ministers.
Since July 24 was Friday, and for most traditional workers, Friday marks the start of the weekend because it is the last day of the usual Monday-through-Friday workweek. So I discovered that by 1:30 a.m., there were approximately 50,000 people at Janatar Mantar. So I believe that Saturday (July 25) is a holiday, and many people will walk out to #ConnaughtPlace (formally known as #RajivChowk) to spend time. The distance between Jantar Mantar and Connaught Place is approximately 500 to 1000 meters. So I believe the crowds will double at Jantar Mantar. Then more challenges will arise for Narendar Modi’s government, according to me.
So the Narendra Modi government should give up its stubborn attitude because protesters are currently more stubborn than the government (if you don’t believe me, then watch the videos available on social media, and even government agencies are making videos), and ask the minister to send his resignation letter to the prime minister’s office or sack him from his government to meet the demands of lakhs of youths. Otherwise, tomorrow they ask the prime minister to resign; trust me, 21st-century kids can bring anything down together.
Now I would like to end my words while saying that I don’t write anything politicians say; rather, I always write what is good for the nation’s interest. And I also found that it’s no longer limited to students’ protest as it’s becoming a mass protest as everyone (all age groups) is participating in the protest and talking about all issues besides the NEET paper leak. In order to put an end to the protest, the Narendra Modi government should act quickly.

According to reports, on July 24, the National Testing Agency (NTA) terminated the services of 47 officials. Legal and criminal actions will also be taken against some of these officials. This is part of a complete overhaul of NTA, which has been in controversy over paper leaks.
On July 21, the Narendra Modi-led Union Cabinet approved amendments to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, with the proposed Bill expected to be introduced in Parliament early next week.
The revised provisions propose stricter punishment for those involved in organised paper leak rackets, with imprisonment of up to 10 years and fines of up to Rs 10 crore.
