SANJEEB KUMAR SAHOO
Before I speak with TV Mohandas Pai ( Mohandas Pai) , a former Infosys CFO and venture capitalist, about his tweet on June 30 at 1:17pm, I would like to say that I was, am, and will always counter fake narratives and thoughts of influential to help crores of people, as I am aware of businessperson’s close relationship with politicians.
So they occasionally talk publicly and tweet in ways that just assist politicians, allowing them to remain in positions of power that only benefit businesspeople, and believe me, a strong link between businesspeople and politicians will not aid or benefit needy people or families.
I would like to start by noting that truth is always quiet and extremely straightforward. So now I am starting with the truth and facts from Mohandas Pai’s tweets, which he tweeted at 1:17pm on June 30, because he used the term “corrupt” in your complaint, explicitly noting, “We had Dr Singh, who gave us possibly the most corrupt government ever in Delhi.”
Therefore, I would like to point out that while it is true that corruption occurred under Dr Manmohan Singh’s government, he seems to have overlooked the reasons behind it, how the corruption happened, who was responsible, and who benefited from it.
In light of this, I would like to tell Mohandas Pai that Bhagirath Choudhary, the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, committed wrongdoing in respect to a government subsidy of Rs 99.03 lakh that was awarded for his commercial cucumber farm in Rajasthan. It does not suggest that the Narendra Modi regime is untrustworthy or crooked.
Similarly, former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram is facing high-profile prosecutions for suspected corruption and money laundering during his term in the Dr Manmohan Singh government, with a focus on the INX Media and Aircel-Maxis cases; nevertheless, this does not imply that the Dr Manmohan Singh government was corrupt.
If any parliamentarians or ministers become corrupt or engage in wrongdoing during their term, I or we should not blame the prime minister who led the government at the time.
So I would like to assert that Dr Manmohan’s government was not corrupt or dishonest.
At the same time, when there is corruption, only selected political party members and top business executives with ties to #politicians, as well as loyal bureaucrats loyal to both politicians and top business leaders are believed to benefit.
Since I discovered that I was associated with a top businessman whose father and mother were Rajya Sabha MPs thanks to the Gandhi family’s blessing, but now he is a hardcore Narendra Modi supporter and a member of the Shinde Sena-Eknath Shinde (I would not disclose his name because mai nahi uska namak khaya hai, which means “I will not bite the hand that feeds me”), I left him in 2022 because he kept asking me to write against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Jagdish Tytler.
Also, believe me when I say that many prominent businesspeople were with the previous administration, led by the Congress and regional political parties, and praised them at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and ASSOCHAM meetings prior to 2014, and are now with the Narendra Modi government.
Consequently, I would like to inform you that, depending on the prevailing winds, businesspeople switch sides for their own gain.
Also, trust me when I say that prominent corporate leaders would switch sides after the 2029 Lok Sabha Elections (according to their previous records), as the Indian political scenario is rapidly changing; it began from #UttarPradesh’s Ayodhya when lawyers of the Faizabad Bar Association on 2 July lodged a formal complaint at the Ram Janmabhoomi police station against Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary #ChampatRai, member #AnilMishra, special invitee Gopal Rao, and other office-bearers, alleging embezzlement of funds meant for the Ram Mandir.
The Narendra Modi government’s blind support for Gautam Adani has resulted in him becoming extremely wealthy. For instance, Adani now owns six airports, including Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Amani. Despite receiving backing from the Narendra Modi government in the last 12 years , Gautam Adani and his company failed to develop any excellent products through inventiveness which could be marketed internationally.
Not only #GautamAdani and his enterprises, but also Mukesh Ambani, became extremely wealthy thanks to past Congress-led governments. Mukesh Ambani is also receiving backing from regional political party leaders and a few Congress members, since his best friend #ParimalNathwani recently won the Rajya Sabha elections from Jharkhand with the help of the BJP and opposition political parties.
Previously, Parimal Nathwani was elected to the Rajya Sabha as a member of the YSR Congress Party. Parimal Nathwani formally joined the party on March 11, 2020, in the presence of then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
And believe me, despite their full backing, Mukesh Ambani and his companies have failed to create any best-in-class products for the international market.
