National Political Mirror’s editorial for March 24th

Before sharing my thoughts on the March 24th PIB's Inter-Ministerial Briefing on Recent Developments in West Asia, I would like to share that Prime Minister #NarendraModi should immediately ask top industrialists to join in building Made in India ships, as he stated in his #RajyaSabha speech on March 24th at 2:01 pm that the government has launched a campaign worth about 70,000 crore rupees to build Made in India ships. India is now rapidly developing facilities for shipbuilding, shipbreaking, maintenance, and overhauling. India is also making its defence sector more resilient.

Before sharing my thoughts on the March 24th PIB’s Inter-Ministerial Briefing on Recent Developments in West Asia, I would like to share that Prime Minister #NarendraModi should immediately ask top industrialists to join in building Made in India ships, as he stated in his #RajyaSabha speech on March 24th at 2:01 pm that the government has launched a campaign worth about 70,000 crore rupees to build Made in India ships. India is now rapidly developing facilities for shipbuilding, shipbreaking, maintenance, and overhauling. India is also making its defence sector more resilient.

Furthermore, I have strong reasons for suggesting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi what I have stated in the first paragraph: seven years ago, an Ahmedabad-based top business acquired six major Indian airports—#Ahmedabad, #Jaipur, #Lucknow, #Mangaluru, #Thiruvananthapuram, and #Guwahati—on a 50-year lease from Indian government without investing a #single rupee.

Let’s get right to the point: in every press conference, joint-secretary-level officials from the Indian government have asked people not to believe rumours when asked about the availability of LPG, petrol, and diesel, but over the last two days, there has been a large queue for gas and diesel for vehicles at #Gujarat’s petrol pumps.

Therefore, I would like to know what actions the Indian government has taken to convince respected citizens of India to know that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel.

Second, during a press conference in #NewDelhi’s National Media Centre, an official announced that two more ships are on their way to India, #PineGas and #JagVasant, which crossed the #StraitOfHormuz last night and are now heading to India with LPG cargo. Jag Vasant (about 47,612.59 MT LPG) is heading for Kandla with an ETA of 26 March morning, while Pine Gas (about 45,000 MT LPG) is headed for New Mangalore with an ETA of 27 March morning.

So, two more ships are on their way to India after crossingStrait of Hormuz, after the #NandaDevi LPG tanker that arrived at Gujarat’s Vadinar (Jamnagar) port and the LPG carrier #Shivalik, which arrived at #Mundra Port.

On the other hand, officer said that 20 Indian-flagged vessels with around 540 Indian seafarers remain in the western Persian Gulf region. The Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) continues close monitoring in coordination with shipowners, RPSL agencies and Indian Missions.

Last but not least, I would like to conclude by stating that USA President #DonaldTrump knows to post updates on his social media accounts both before and after meetings with top global leaders and important announcements, etc.

However, Donald Trump has yet to tweet or post on his social media accounts, such as #X and #TruthSocial, that he had a conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24, despite the fact that the Prime Minister of India had already tweeted on the same day at 6:51 pm and said, ‘Received a call from President Trump and had a useful exchange of views on the situation in West Asia.’ India supports de-escalation and restoration of peace at the earliest. Ensuring that the Strait of Hormuz remains open, secure and accessible is essential for the whole world. We agreed to stay in touch regarding efforts towards peace and stability.”

However, I must add that in my final remarks for my morning X’s editorial, US President Donald Trump mentioned Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his TruthSocial account.
